2017.5 Mazda6 Upgrades Standard Features
Halfway through the 2017 model year, Mazda has updated the Mazda6 with some impressive standard and available features. Keep reading for all the great news about the 2017.5 Mazda6!
For the 2017.5 Mazda6 model year, the Mazda6 Touring has gained leather seats. Both the Mazda6 Sport and Touring models have seen changes in trim as well. Of course, those aren’t the only things!
New Standard Features
In the entry level 2017.5 Mazda6 Sport, you’ll now see Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert as standard features. This only furthers Mazda constant commitment to making safer vehicles. Did you know that Mazda6 was named a 2017 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety “Top Safety Pick+” winner? This is the highest honor awarded by the non-profit safety agency. In fact, all the Mazda vehicles have earned this distinction and Mazda is the only automaker able to make this claim.
The Sport also comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and cloth seating surfaces. There’s also keyless entry, backup camera and power windows among many other standard features you really need to see. The Mazda6 Touring upgrades to 19-inch wheels and leatherette-upholstered seats. Mazda also added Advanced Keyless Entry, dual-zone automatic climate control and read HVAC vents. There’s also a 6-way power driver’s seat and Smart City Brake Support. Navigation and heated front seats are now standard features for the 2017.5 model year.
New Available Features
The Mazda6 Grand Touring model includes a full-color Active Driving Display heads-up unit. It also offers LED interior and fog lamps and an LED signature grille surround. There’s a driver’s memory seat and a 6-way power passenger seat, too. In fact, there’s a ton of features, both standard and available, that you really need to appreciate for yourself
