2019 Mazda6: Bringing Safety to the Front

In the 2018 model year, the two upper trims, Signature and Grand Touring Reserve, offered customers additional premium features. They were enthusiastic about the addition of the turbocharged Skyactiv-G 2.5T engine that was added to the Mazda6 lineup. Now, all trim levels of the 2019 Mazda6 come standard with the complete suite of i-Activsense safety and driver assisting technologies. The G-Vectoring Control Plus is also now standard for the new model year. This addition advances the steering response thus offering the driver and passengers a smoother and better driving experience.
The Mazda6 Sport comes with the super-efficient Skyavtiv-G 2.5 engine. Rated to deliver 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, the 2019 Mazda6 flies. Cylinder-deactivation is also standard on Mazda6’s 2.5-liter engine. This technology shuts off the two outside cylinders during cruising conditions which offers more efficiency. Also offered on all models is the quick-shifting Skyactiv-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Mazda6 Touring includes all of the handiness and safety features of the Mazda6 Sport. However, it upgrades to integrate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. It also offers leatherette-trimmed seats, 6-way power driver’s seat with manual lumbar support and heated front seats.
Grand Touring Model
The Mazda6 Grand Touring offers all of those features. It’s upgraded with larger front ventilated brake discs as well as a BOSE 11-speaker premium audio system and SiriusXM satellite radio.
Grand Touring Reserve Model
The Mazda6 Grand Touring Reserve offers many typical premium features found in luxury midsize sedans. One of these items is a windshield-projected, full-color Active Driving Display head-up unit with Traffic Sign Recognition and Adaptive Front-lighting system.
The uppermost trim level for the Mazda6 is the Signature model. This one, well, you’ll have to see in person to get the full experience. Words alone can’t do it justice.
